It is truly a privilege for me to have the opportunity to write the first “Coaches Corner”, on behalf of the PBHC. Over the past year and a half, an idea became a reality, as I have had the support of so many people to help make the Portage Boys Hoops Club become an official organization. There are too many names to mention individually here, but I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you, to everyone that has been involved. Board members, donors, members…without your support, this organization would not be ready to support our youth and the community the way we are already beginning to do!

Moving forward, our goal will be very simple – support the Portage youth in basketball related opportunities. To do that, we will need to keep working together, as just like in any team environment, when people work together towards a common goal, great things can happen!
I look forward to being a part of that team, with you, as we continue to grow as an organization, while becoming an important part of the community for our youth.
