The Portage Boys Hoops Club offers youth basketball for Grades K-8. Registration is open for Grades 3-8. Click here to take you to the registration page. If you haven't created an account yet, you will need to do that prior to registering the athlete.
Waivers are agreements in the online registration process.

PLAYER CONSENT FORM:

[Grades K-8] Please sign turn in at Registration Check-In for Grades 3-8. ​Grades K-2 can turn in at the first practice.

UNIFORMS:
-
[Grades 3-8]​ Uniform Orders will be completed at Registration Check In Meeting. Payment will be submitted in the form of a check/cash at this time. All new players will need to purchase uniforms (Grade 3-8). Registration confirmation email will have information regarding uniform order. Check must be separate from Volunteer Fee.

VOLUNTEER FEE:
-
[Grades 3-8] To assist the PBHC in sponsoring successful basketball tournaments, a family member for each registered player will be responsible for on average, a 4 hour volunteer work commitment. The $100 deposit check will not be deposited if the volunteer hours have been completed. Upon failure to complete the volunteer hours, the $100 fee will be deposited into the PBHC account. Players whose family members are Head Coaches, Coordinators, or Committee members, are exempt from the volunteer fee.​

Parents & players are required to pay all fees, complete registration and all waivers by the registration deadline.

General Season Info: Grades 3-8
Weekly Team Practice

Conducted by PBHC Youth Coaches

Team practice will be held during the week and weekends when not playing

Practice schedules will be posted by the end of October on grade level team pages

Skills and Drills will be emphasized, progressing to "intra-squad" team play

Practice will start in November

Grades 4-8 practice will start November 9th

​Grades 4-8 will play in the BDL; tournaments 1-2 weekends a month

Grade 3 will have a few games and/or tournaments

Season runs from mid-November to March

General Season Info: Grades K-2
The K-2 program will focus on building fundamentals like dribbling, passing, shooting, working on teammate skills while having fun and loving the game!
