YOUTH BASKETBALL

Grades 3-8

Registration for Portage Boys Hoops Club Youth Basketball Grades 3-8 is now OPEN.  Click here to take you to the registration page.  If you haven't created an account yet, you will need to do that prior to registering the athlete.  All forms that need to be signed are available at this link.  Please bring all forms with you at the mandatory Parent Meeting on October 9th.

UPDATE ON PBHC YOUTH BASKETBALL

Follow this CHECKLIST for a quick guide on the registration process.

PARENT MEETING: OCTOBER 9th

Mandatory parent meeting is for grades 3-8.  

*All paperwork and payment is due at the meeting*

SCHEDULE: Grades K-3

Grades K-2 - Skills and drills on Saturday mornings starting in December (9:45-11a). Season will conclude mid February.

Grade 3 - Starting with skills and drills Saturday mornings in December (8-9:30a). Adding in some week night practices in January/February.  Season will conclude in February with a few tournaments.

SCHEDULE: Grades 4-8

Grades 4-8 participate in the BDL (Badger Developmental League) with 6 weekends

of play with 2-4 additional tournaments depending on the grade level.  The first practice is November 10th.  Practices will be twice a week. 

The first BDL weekend is December 7th.

Instruction for the K-2 will be provided by our PBHC Youth Coaches, PHS Boys Basketball Coaches and Players.  The K-2 program will focus on building fundamentals like dribbling, passing, shooting, working on teammate skills while having fun and loving the game!
